Minecraft: Java Edition. Available on the Minecraft website. – Java. Available here. Steam with SteamVR installed and configured. A SteamVR-compatible headset like the HTC Vive, Oculus Rift S, Valve Index, or Windows MR. OR A non-compatible headset, like the Oculus Quest 1 or 2. GearVR, Google Cardboard, Vive Focus or PSVR and properly configured SteamVR emulator software . A computer that is capable of running VR using an exclusive GPU. Integrated Intel graphics are not supported. Gaming laptops frequently need to be specifically configured to utilize the dedicated GPU for Minecraft. For more information, check out the FAQ. – Either standing motion controls or a keyboard and mouse. Gamepads aren’t currently supported.



Downloads



Vivecraft is available for several Minecraft versions. All versions include Optifine which adds shader support and dynamic lights to the game. All versions are playable online. Some versions do not support VR features, or Forge mods.



Each version has 4 downloads. The VR Client is the main mod for VR players. The NonVR (2D) Client is for desktop gamers who wish to see VR animations or LAN-host. The Spigot plugin allows animations to be enabled on Spigot servers. The Forge server mod allows animations to be enabled on the Forge Server.

Installing Vivecraft



It is easy to install. Follow these instructions to install the Vivecraft client. The process for installing is the same for the initial installation and subsequent updates. Vivecraft can be installed multiple times using different options without issue.



1. Run the Minecraft Launcher on your PC at least once to make the game folders. You don’t have to start the game. Close the launcher. 2. Make sure that the Minecraft Launcher is NOT running. 3. Run the Vivecraft Installer. You’ll see checkboxes for each option to install. Click on each option and you’ll see the contents. Mc-plugins.net should generally leave the defaults. If you need assistance with Forge modifications, you should check the Forge box. If Forge isn’t detected by the installer it will download and run it for you. – Don’t give more RAM than you actually require. 4GB is more than enough for all but the largest modpacks.



4. Click Install. The program will download files and create your launcher profile. 5. If you’re using laptop. You need to make sure that the high-performance processor be enabled in the gpu control panels. For more information, check out the FAQ. 6. Run the Minecraft Launcher. 7. You should have already selected the profile for Vivecraft. If not, make sure you look in the “modded profiles” box. See Image.



8. Click Play.
